Lip and Blush Tattoo
Here is what you need to know when considering lip blush!
Lip blushing is a semi permanent tattoo, the results vary from 1-3 years, before a colour boost is recommend your lifestyle contributes to how well it will maintain! as we want it to look enhanced but still natural, not blocky and fake. Emma recommends a touch up within 12-24 months to maintain the colour and longevity of the tattoo, though in some cases can go longer :)
Lip blush doesn't fill volume into your lips like injectables do, it delivers natural tint like finish within the borders of your lips, it creates symmetry and depth of colour this in turn will give the illusion of fuller lips.
Choosing your colour? Colours are completely customisable after Emma assess's your natural base colour she will mix a colour that compliments your look! if you have a favourite lipstick or lip liner, please bring it with you!
Annual touchup/colour change- your colour needs to be at least 50% faded to achieve a big adjustment of colour
Prep and pain level... topical anaesthetic is applied before to pre numb and during the proceedure, to keep the pain levels an absolute minimum (most people say it just feels like an annoying scratching rather than any pain)
If you are prone to coldsores its ESSENTIAL to take precautions to minimise the risk of an outbreak. Before and after the procedure to make sure you take your antiviral medication to reduced the risk of a coldsore outbreak and then also mix the topical cream through your aftercare.
Healing - lip blush heels into the skin, not onto... so you can still switch your look up with different lipsticks and liners as you normally would.
Your Lip Blush will start to peel within 3-4 days the colour may seem to fade out, and change in different lighting times of day ect, for the first few weeks.. but it will gradually come back through over the next 8 weeks, so be patient its well worth the wait:)
